'Freelancing' – Week 3
The best job I found online this week:
“I would like a poem written that rhymes to ask forgiveness from my partner. I would like the poem to be written in the next 24 hours.”
Sadly, I don't do formalist poetry.
In other news:
- A temp company put me up for a part-time job. I'm hoping to get an interview this week.
- I put in a bid on a freelance job that pays a decent hourly wage and landed an interview for this week.
- 1 + 2 = IDEAL SITUATION FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS.
I also sent out four more resumes and started a work-trade
for some entrepreneurial professional development classes. I am technically the
head of my own company so I need to figure out how to run a business. I have a list of CEO things to figure out now like what my growth strategy is and how to get an offshore account to send all my money to. My first assignment for the
work-trade is an article about the Affordable Care Act and how it affects entrepreneurs. Very timely.
I feel good about last week but I have nothing tangible to show for it. I just have good feelings, but good feelings are a luxury item now so I'll take them.
Side note: I had to check my finances at the end of October and I have a little more saved up than I thought, so I currently have +5 Good Feelings.
I'll leave you with a tip for entrepreneurs:
